His story
A life.
A calling.
A story.
The beginning
Raymond’s story begins long before the pulpit. In his book, he recounts a traumatic experience in 1991 and the fear and isolation that followed. His wife, Jody, kept searching for help and hope. An invitation to church became a turning point for their family.
At Word of Life Christian Center in Colorado, Raymond and Jody accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. In his own words, God did not return him to his old life—He gave them a new one.
The journey into ministry
Raymond and Jody began by serving wherever they were needed: cleaning, helping with sermon tapes, and doing work that carried no title. Under the leadership of Dr. Tim and Pastor Gayla Bagwell, their faith and calling grew.
Raymond later traveled with Pastor Bagwell to Brazil and served as his Director of Operations before entering pastoral leadership. He has now served in pastoral ministry for more than two decades and has ministered throughout the United States and internationally.
His heart for people
Raymond’s ministry rests on a simple conviction: authentic faith, lived consistently, can transform lives and communities. His preaching combines sound biblical teaching with pastoral warmth and practical application.
With a heart for discipleship, he helps everyday believers discover the purpose God has written into their lives and live as faithful witnesses of Jesus Christ.

In Your Life His Letter, Raymond draws on personal testimony, sermons, and years of ministry to explore how God authors, publishes, and covers our lives. His speaking ministry carries that same concern for people to grow in faith and live out God’s calling.
